How to use Edge Finder
- Select Market type: 2-way or 1X2.
- Enter the sharp book (e.g., Pinnacle) odds for both sides — for 1X2 enter H/D/A.
- Enter your softbook odds for the same market.
- Optionally set Bankroll, Kelly divisor (e.g., 2 = half-Kelly), and Stake rounding step (€) for a practical stake suggestion.
- Results update instantly: Fair odds, EV%, Spread%, and Recommended stake.
What do the numbers mean?
- Fair odds: odds with margin removed (no-vig).
- EV%: expected value vs the softbook price:
EV% = 100 × (odds × p_fair − 1). - Recommended stake: Kelly fraction scaled by the divisor and rounded to the step.
- Spread%: each side’s contribution to the market margin.
